Founded in 1806, Henderson lies in the heart of the Golden Crescent on the eastern shore of Lake Ontario. Known far and wide for its smallmouth bass and perch fishing opportunities, Henderson is also a great place for largemouth bass, northern pike, trout and salmon fishing.

The Town of Henderson passes a resolution calling for the suspension and reworking of Plan 2014 and a return to Plan 1958DD until such time as Plan 2014 can be made safe to implement. All resident's must see attendant before dumping
Contractor's will no longer be able dump materials (SEE ATTENDENT WIITH QUESTIONS)
Recyclables must be presorted before you come to recycling
Trash containing recyclables can and will be refused
NO loose trash
All refuse must originate in the Town of Henderson
Clear bags only
HOURS of OPERATION: TUESDAY -THURSDAY 8-4, SATURDAY 8-4

Due to capacity issues, the following rules are being implemented regarding depositing brush
at the Town's Transfer Station:
* Brush deposit is for town residents from individual residential property only; This service is not intended for large scale land developers; No commercial vehicles permitted
* Vehicles hauling brush are limited to pickup trucks or cars with small personal trailers
No full size dump trucks or flatbeds permitted
* Two loads per day are permitted
* Residents must unload brush themselves
* Brush should be no longer than 6' in length
* Brush must to be bundled and able to be handled by one man
We appreciate your cooperation in abiding by these regulations. Violations may result in the Transfer Station no longer accepting brush.
