Welcome to the Town of Henderson, New York. This is the official municipal website for the Town and all Town related business. Henderson is located in Upstate New York. and is a picturesque lake front community. 

Founded in 1806, Henderson lies in the heart of the Golden Crescent on the eastern shore of Lake Ontario.  Known far and wide for its smallmouth bass and perch fishing opportunities, Henderson is also a great place for largemouth bass, northern pike, trout and salmon fishing.

Henderson is a town in Jefferson County, New York, United States. The population was 1,438 at the 2020 census. The town is named after William Henderson, the original European-American land owner.
