The Town of Henderson Highway Department is responsible for maintaining and improving the town’s roadways and related infrastructure to ensure safe and reliable travel for residents and visitors year-round.
Our dedicated highway staff works hard in all seasons to provide essential services, including road maintenance and repair, snow and ice control, drainage and ditching, culvert installation, shoulder work, and general upkeep of town-owned roads and rights-of-way. During the winter months, the department is on call around the clock to keep roads passable and safe during snow and ice events.
In addition to routine maintenance, the Highway Department plays an important role in long-term planning and infrastructure improvement, working closely with town leadership, county and state agencies, and contractors on larger projects and emergency responses.
